About Our School
Churchville Elementary School (CES) has a rich history. Built in 1937 as a Works Progress Administration Project, this project helped put people back to work during the Depression. The school was built as the Union Free School District No. 4 and served grades 1-12. When Churchville-Chili Central School District was established in 1950, the CES school building was the district school, providing education for grades 1-12.
Our current enrollment includes 419 students in kindergarten through grade 4. Students learn in a nurturing, supportive environment that provides the tools to meet and exceed the district and state learning standards in English Language Arts, math, social studies and science. Many unique programs and projects at CES strengthen student learning.
